In my own life, I faced the harsh reality of an abusive marriage, an experience that has shaped my mission today: Saving Survivors. Through sharing my story of domestic violence, I believe I've gained a profound understanding of the struggles others may face. "If it could happen to me, it could happen to any of us," is a sentiment that echoes my journey. Enduring physical abuse and the need for control, manipulation, and financial tactics were unfortunately part of my story, common but seldom discussed challenges.

 

Making the decision to break free wasn't easy, but it was a pivotal moment that led me to launch the Torchlight Foundation. This journey was tough, but it's why I'm here today, committed to helping fellow survivors.
